Relive the magic of the 1940’s here in the Irwell Valley at our award winning 1940’s event, now in its 11th year!

Saturday war time wedding at St Paul's in Ramsbottom is featured in detail, as the participants make this a special event of note. It is followed by a tea dance, and then a full frontal attack at Regensburg (Rawtenstall). The detail of the fighting has to be seen to be believed. Fighting by North West re-enactment groups at its best. NOT TO BE MISSED !  The battle saw the  Fly past by a DC3 at Rawtenstall, and our other cameras captured it over Ramsbottom.

The wartime music & dance is portrayed in style by ‘The Forces Sweethearts’ &  Mr Paul Harper. A parade & remembrance service at Irwell Vale is followed by a skirmish, where allied leaders are captured. The green at Irwell Vale was full of 1940’s vehicles, and army camps. Our Cameras had an absolute field day.

Churchill, Roosevelt & Stalin on Bolton Street Station, the Rematch at Regensburg & our rousing Finale at St Paul's Church Ramsbottom rounds off an award winning weekend....NOT TO BE MISSED !
